Come Join the Fun!

Join CBE students and staff on Thursday, October 17 at 6:00pm for our4th/5th grade PTO and Haunted Hall! We will all meet in the cafeteria at 6:00pm for brief updates from PTO and to get a ticket, then students and families can enter the Haunted Hall... if you dare! All are welcome to experience the Hall multiple times- your first trip through will be free but after the first time, you will need to purchase additional entry tickets for $1 each. There will be spooks and scares and PTO will be selling snacks. The Haunted Hall will end at 7:15pm.
Warning: there will be flashing lights and tight, enclosed spaces.

National Principal's Month

Happy National Principal's Month Mr. Llewellyn! CB Eller was proud to have Representative Virginia Foxx to visit today to thank Mr. Llewellyn for his dedication and service to education. My Energy Kits Available to Everyone

We need your help! This year, our school is participating in the My Energy Kit Challenge, an energy conservation program from Duke Energy. Through this program, our families and staff can request a FREE Energy Kit. If 100 families at our school request the FREE kit, we’ll automatically win $250. Not only that – each semester, the top three schools that request the MOST kits will win grand prizes between $1,000 and $2,500! Every household can sign up to receive a FREE kit. The Wilkes Habitat ReStore has brand new school supplies at affordable prices. Supplies include composition books, 5 subject notebooks, lab books, binders, notepads, and so much more. New Box Top App

CB Eller collects Box Tops to earn money for our school. The Box Tops program has recently went digital. There is a new app that will save parents time and help our school earn money for supplies. The Title I program in Wilkes County provides supplementary instructional support in the areas of early intervention, reading and math. Title I funding is provided under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 and is the largest single federal funding source for education. 12 Note MAP

Wilkes County is currently offering after school music in the following elementary schools; Moravian Falls, Wilkesboro, Ronda Clingman, Millers Creek, and Roaring River.

The county apologizes that they do not have the resources to offer the program in all Wilkes County Schools at this time. However, students are more then welcome to attend MAP at any of the above schools. Students would need to be transported by parent or guardian to a site.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Parents - Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is now in our area! Her unique program provides free books to all children from birth to five years old. That's right - she will send your child a free book every month from birth until 5. It is never too early to start children reading!
